SAGINAW, Mich.,—1st State Bank has promoted Kevin Fraser to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Missie Freier to Senior Vice President, Business Lender and Cynthia Holliday to Vice President, BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) & Compliance Officer, according to Todd Gregory, President & CEO.

Missie Freier
Kevin Fraser joined 1st State Bank in 2009 and brings more than 25 years of experience in the accounting industry. Throughout his tenure, he has played a critical role in the Bank’s financial management, strategic planning, and long- term growth. In his new role, Fraser will continue to oversee the Bank’s financial operations while helping guide its future direction.
Since joining 1st State Bank in 2017, Missie Freier has been instrumental in supporting local businesses with tailored lending solutions and trusted financial guidance. With over 25 years of banking experience, she has built strong relationships throughout the community and is known for her commitment to helping businesses grow and succeed.

Cynthia Holliday
Cynthia Holliday has over 25 years of banking experience and joined 1st State Bank in 2017 as a Deposit Operations Specialist, before being promoted to Bank Secrecy Act Officer in 2018. Holliday oversees the Bank’s BSA and Anti-Money Laundering programs while leading the overall compliance function, including regulatory monitoring, internal controls, and risk management practices.
