Isabella Bank Promotes Tom Gross and Tori Crawford

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich.,—Isabella Bank has promoted Tom Gross to VP-Senior Commercial Loan Officer and Tori Crawford to Commercial Lender, according to Michael Huenemann, Isabella Bank’s Chief Lending Officer.

Tom Gross will continue to serve customers throughout the Isabella County footprint, with his nearly two decades of experience in commercial lending and business development.

Tom is a 2003 graduate of Michigan State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He began his career as a Credit Analyst and Financial Services Officer at GreenStone Farm Credit Services in St. Johns before joining Isabella Bank in 2006.

“I’m very excited to see how Tom will be able to lead his team and help grow Isabella Bank in his new role,” said Huenemann.

Tom is a Dale Carnegie Trusted Advisor Graduate. He also participated in the Rollie Denison Leadership Institute, an intensive educational program which covers a variety of topics such as leadership styles and practices, economic development, business ethics, and business law with the goal of preparing individuals to be future leaders in the greater Mt. Pleasant community.

Tom currently serves as treasurer of the Beal City Public Schools Board and is a former president of the Mt. Pleasant Rotary Club.

Tori Crawford

Tori Crawford joined Isabella Bank in 2021 as an Executive Assistant. Over the past few years, she has held several key roles including Credit Analyst, Senior Credit Analyst, and most recently, Business Development Associate.

“Tori has done a phenomenal job for us in her time here at Isabella Bank and I can’t wait to see how she’ll continue to grow and lead to best serve our customers,” Huenemann stated.

Crawford holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, and she is a Community Bankers of Michigan Certified Credit Analyst and Community Banker University Certified Agricultural Credit Analyst. Tori was also voted by her peers as an outstanding performer in the Dale Carnegie Comprehensive Leadership program.

“I am profoundly grateful to work alongside the team of strong community leaders at Isabella Bank. I look forward to continuing to see businesses of all sizes thrive and flourish in the Mt. Pleasant and surrounding Central Michigan communities,” Crawford said.

Tori has served as a Kids Hope USA Mentor for 13 years and volunteers with organizations like Special Olympics, Mt. Pleasant Community Church, and the Isabella Child Development Center Thrift Store.
