Thompson Phelan Strengthens Leadership

ANCHORVILLE, Mich., — Thompson Phelan Group, a design/build architectural firm, has made key changes to its ownership structure. This restructuring marks a significant milestone as the organization strengthens its leadership to build on its success and drive continued growth within the company.

Kelly A. Watson, formerly Chief Architectural/Interior Designer, has accepted an ownership position within the firm as Director of Design beginning January 2025. Kelly joined TPG in 2006 as a Project Manager. Throughout her tenure, she has been influential in diversifying design solutions for clients, attributing to TPG’s evolution and creativity.

Greg B. Nowicki began his ownership journey with TPG January 2022 when he became the Director of Construction. In his position, he is responsible for project estimation, contract administration, construction documents and specifications used for bidding, permitting, and construction. Greg began his TPG career in 2012 where he proves to be an invaluable asset to both TPG and clients daily.

William J. Hass, Director of Architecture, oversees all the work completed by the architectural department including detailed plans and specifications used for bids, permits, and construction.  Bill joined TPG in 2005, taking on an ownership position in January 2021 where he embraced new opportunities and accelerated TPG’s success.

Brian R. Van Peteghem, General Manager, joined TPG in 2000 as a project manager and CADD manager. Taking on the role of General Manager in 2013, following two years later with ownership, he now oversees the administrative, accounting, purchasing, and general operations of TPG.  Brian’s unwavering dedication to TPG and its clients has been instrumental in supporting the company’s achievements and growth.
