Dennis Dinauer
SAGINAW, Mich., — 1st State Bank has promoted Dennis Dinauer, Paige LaPeen, Casandra Benedict and Adrienne Ikewood to officer-level positions, according to Todd Gregory, president and CEO.
Dinauer has been promoted to vice president, mortgage loan officer. He joined 1st State Bank in 2006 and has more than 25 years of mortgage industry experience. Dinauer serves on the Bay Area Community Foundation Grants Committee and is secretary/treasurer of the 100 Club of Bay City. He also is a member of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and Bay County Realtor Association.
Paige LaPeen
LaPeen moves into the role of assistant vice president, mortgage loan officer. She joined the bank in 2025 and has more than nine years of mortgage lending experience. LaPeen is vice chair of the Family & Children’s Services Board of Directors and serves on its Finance Committee. She also serves on the Education Training Connection Board of Directors and is a member of Midland Noon Rotary, the Midland Business Alliance and Bay County Chamber of Commerce.
Casandra Benedict
Benedict has been named bank officer, assistant branch administrator. She joined 1st State Bank in 2013 and previously served as a personal banker, assistant branch manager and branch operations coordinator. Benedict developed the bank’s
Adrienne Ikewood
first formal Branch New Hire Training Program, along with training resources and operational processes.
Ikewood’s promotion places her in the role of bank officer, mortgage operations supervisor. She joined 1st State Bank in 2023 with more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience. She has helped implement and administer the bank’s mortgage origination system and now oversees its mortgage processors and underwriters. Ikewood also serves as a community board member for the Clio Sports Complex and volunteers with Clio schools and youth sports programs.
