HONESDALE, Pa., — Wayne Bank has named Stephanie Abraham senior vice president and commercial team leader and promoted Deborah Kennedy to senior vice president and director of retail banking.
Abraham will lead and expand the bank’s commercial lending team and help grow its presence in the Lackawanna and Luzerne County markets. She has more than 11 years of banking experience and more than 20 years of sales, business development and relationship management experience.
Most recently, Abraham served as vice president and commercial loan officer, managing a commercial loan portfolio and developing loan and deposit business. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Scranton and has completed the Pennsylvania Bankers School of Commercial Lending, Leadership Lackawanna and the Amplify Women’s Leadership Program.

Kennedy leads Wayne Bank’s branch network across Pennsylvania and New York as the bank integrates the two markets into a single retail organization. She has more than 20 years of banking experience.
Kennedy earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from King’s College and an MBA from Capella University. She serves as co-chair of the Scranton Diocese Catholic Women’s Conference and is a past president of Abington Rotary and the Abington Heights Civic League.
