Richard Rushkewicz
NORTHBROOK, Ill.,—Richard C. Rushkewicz has retired as Founding CEO of Northbrook Bank & Trust Company, a Wintrust Community Bank.
Rushkewicz opened the bank as a de novo in 2000. He concludes a nearly 54-year career in banking during which he has held management positions at several Chicago-area banks. He remains a director of Northbrook Bank, one of the largest, most profitable banks in Illinois.
He received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Northwestern University and is a graduate of the Stonier School of Banking.
Mr. Rushkewicz has been involved with a number of community and civic activities and organizations. He has held leadership positions, executive officer roles, and volunteer responsibilities through the years in various Chambers of Commerce, service clubs, United Way, YMCA, educational, fraternal, merchant, church, economic development, country club, and park district groups. He intends to remain involved in several local community organizations.
