1st State Bank Adds Proctor as VP

SAGINAW, Mich., — Jeffrey Proctor has been named 1st State Bank Vice President, Business Lender, according to Jim Milroy, President and Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Proctor will work with local businesses throughout Saginaw, Bay and Midland counties, providing expertise and guidance throughout their business loan process and beyond.

With 25 years of broad experience in banking, Proctor brings a wealth of knowledge, particularly in business lending and commercial credit. Prior to joining 1st State Bank, he served as a Commercial Lender for Mercantile Bank and most recently at as a Business Development Officer. Proctor holds both a Bachelor’s and an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration from Northwood University. Active in the community, Proctor serves as a board member for Isabella County’s Habitat for Humanity and is an active member of the Saginaw County Chamber of Commerce and the Midland Business Alliance.
