HONESDALE, Pa., — Wayne Bank has appointed Tracie Young Executive Vice President and Director of Risk, Ryan French Executive Vice President and Director of Human Resources, Matthew Murphy Senior Vice President and Mortgage Fulfillment Manager and Nicole Southard Vice President and Central New York Regional Community Office Manager, according to Jim Donnelly, President, and Chief Executive Officer .

Tracie Young joined Wayne Bank in 2023 and has most recently served as a Senior Vice President, where she was responsible for overseeing the Bank’s risk management framework, which includes Audit, Compliance, Deposit Operations, Fraud, and Security & Facilities. Ryan French
critical to proactively identifying and addressing potential risks to the operations of the Bank.
Ryan French joined Wayne Bank in 2009 as Assistant Vice President and Director of Human Resources. In this new role, he will continue to take on expanded responsibilities and excel in advancing the strategic goals of the Bank. French holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from King’s College, providing a strong foundation for his leadership in talent development and organizational success.

Nicole Southard
Nicole Southard joined Wayne Bank in 2011 as a part-time teller and has held several positions during her tenure. As she transitions from Assistant Vice President to Vice President, Central New York Regional Manager, she is responsible for overseeing the Bank of Cooperstown offices in Cooperstown and Oneonta, and the Bank of the Finger Lakes offices in Geneva and Penn Yan. Southard is a graduate of SUNY Cobleskill, where she received an associate degree.

“During her time with us, Nicole has demonstrated complete dedication to community office operations and the Bank’s customers. Her knowledge and commitment have helped expand the Cooperstown market, and I am confident that her skills will continue to help drive operational success and efficiency in our offices,” commented Donnelly.
Matt Murphy joined Wayne Bank in 2015 as a Mortgage Loan Originator and held the position of Mortgage Underwriter. He most recently served as Residential Mortgage Fulfillment Manager, where he was responsible for overseeing mortgage fulfillment, underwriting, processing, and documentation for the department. Murphy holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Finger Lakes Community College.
