Ronica Fodor Recognized as Eastern Region Bank Compliance Leader

MILFORD, Mich., — Ronica Fodor, CRCM, has been awarded the 2024 Eastern Region Bank Compliance Leader Award by Bankers Alliance, the parent company for Compliance Alliance, according to Jack Shubitowski, President and CEO of Huron Valley State Bank.

Ronica’s journey began when she joined Huron Valley State Bank as a Teller Supervisor when the bank opened its doors for business in 2005. Driven by meticulous attention to detail, coupled with her desire to learn more about rules and regulations, Ronica embarked on a self-taught journey in compliance. Her multifaceted background spanning lending, deposits, and operations paved the way for her eventual focus on regulatory compliance. She earned the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation in 2016.

In addition, Ronica recently graduated from the Emerging Leaders Program offered by the Community Bankers of Michigan. This program was developed for high performing high potential leaders. Ronica completed her program this past May.
