MINERVA, Ohio—Consumers National Bank has its new Canton branch located in the Millennium Centre and has appointed Tony Klonowski as the Branch Relationship Manager. The new branch is the bank’s 23rd full-service branch location and 10th branch in Stark County.
“We will provide a refreshing local banking alternative for the downtown businesses and residents as well as to the surrounding neighborhoods. We will apply the same energy that drives our success in our other communities, and we will support the organizations that are vital to Canton’s economic and social fabric,” said Ralph J. Lober II, President and CEO of Consumers National Bank.
Canton Mayor, William V. Sherer II, thanked the bank leadership for their investment and confidence in downtown Canton. He noted that the downtown district is the fastest growing neighborhood in the city.
Klonowski has more than 25 years of experience as a bank manager and consumer lender. He is a graduate of Massillon Perry High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the College of Wooster. Klonowski currently volunteers for the Highland Youth Football and Cheer Association as a football coach and is a Board member and Treasurer as well. He resides in Wadsworth with his wife Terese and their two children.
“Tony is an excellent person to lead our new Canton location as Branch Relationship Manager,” said Derek Williams, SVP, Retail Sales & Operations. His previous banking experience will enable him to build and manage an exceptional team, and his extensive knowledge of the Canton market will be a valuable resource for his clients,” said Williams.
In addition to Klonowski, Consumers Bank’s Canton branch employs Scott Brunoni, a business banker with over twenty-five years of commercial lending experience in the Canton market, a mortgage originator, and two relationship bankers.
