Brad Guess Joins Consumers as VP, Business Banker

MINERVA, Ohio,—Brad Guess has joined Consumers National Bank as Vice President and Business Banking Officer in the bank’s northern market.

“Brad has extensive commercial loan experience and has spent many years working with large and small businesses in the bank’s market area,” said Scott Dodds, EVP and Senior Loan Officer. “Brad understands the local environment that our business clients operate in and will be a valuable asset to both our clients and Consumers National Bank,” said Dodds.

Guess will pursue new business growth in Stark, Summit, and contiguous northern counties by developing new commercial loan and business banking relationships. In addition, Guess will be responsible for serving current business customers and managing the existing commercial loan portfolio in those areas.

Prior to joining Consumers National Bank, Guess held positions as a Senior Business Banker and a Credit Analyst at Ohio regional banks. He is a graduate of Grove City College, has an MBA from Robert Morris College, and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Graduate School of Banking. Guess is past Treasurer of Conrad Masonic Lodge and a member of the Board of directors of Junior Achievement of Stark County.

Consumers Opens New Branch

Consumers National Bank has opened a new full-service branch in Massillon, Ohio, marking the bank’s ninth location in Stark County and the 22nd branch in its network.

“Opening this new office in Massillon enables Consumers National Bank to serve new and existing personal, business, and agricultural customers in the Massillon/Perry communities. By building a new office in Massillon, we are demonstrating our commitment to invest in communities and bring more convenient access to our growing customer base. Partnering with Minerva’s Studer Architects and Massillon-based RBS General Contracting on the design and build made this project extremely local for us,” said Ralph J. Lober, II, president and CEO of Consumers National Bank.
