CHEBOYGAN, Mich.,—After seven years of dedicated service to Citizens National Bank and more than 35 years in banking, Timothy Timmer has retired, concluding a respected career in business banking and leaving behind a strong legacy of relationship‑driven leadership. Timmer joined CNB in 2018, where he has been instrumental in developing and strengthening commercial and business relationships across Northern Michigan.

“Tim’s legacy at CNB is defined by the relationships he built, the trust he earned, and the many businesses he helped along the way,” said Matthew Keene, President & CEO of CNB. “We are incredibly thankful for his commitment and professionalism, and we wish Tim and his family every happiness as he steps into retirement.”

A Northern Michigan resident for more than 25 years, Timmer built a reputation as a well‑known and well‑respected business banker throughout the region.
