SAGINAW, Mich., — 1st State Bank has appointed Melissa Spranger, Senior Vice President, Business Lender, according to Todd Gregory, President and Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Spranger will work with local businesses across Saginaw, Bay and Midland counties, providing guidance and personalized support through their business loan process and beyond.
With 20 years of banking experience, Spranger brings extensive knowledge in business lending. Before joining 1st State Bank, she served as a Commercial Lender at Mercantile Bank, and previously held Commercial Lending positions at Huntington Bank and Chemical Bank. Spranger holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Baker College and a MBA from Saginaw Valley State University.
A dedicated community leader, Spranger serves as a board member of The Saginaw Club, board member and Treasurer of the Downtown Saginaw Rotary Club, and previously served as board president for both organizations. Spranger is also a graduate of Leadership Saginaw County and the Great Lakes Bay Regional Alliance Institute for Leaders and serves as a diplomat for the Saginaw Chamber of Commerce.
